"Der ruhender Pol der Aufführung war Iván López-Reynoso, der am Pult die Philharmonia Zürich zu großartigen Klängen, zart lyrisch aber auch dramatisch kompakt anspornte.  Besonders ergreifend die Einleitung der Wahnsinnsszene durch den Solisten Clement Noel am Englischhorn. Auch die Leistung des Chores war eindrucksvoll, man merkte die intensive Probenarbeit."
